What is Vacation Fiber?
Vacation Fiber is an internet service designed for temporary-use properties, rentals, second homes or seasonal stays. It provides internet access for a period of 6 or 8 months, with a single payment and no monthly fees.
How long does the service last?
You can subscribe to Vacation Fiber for a 6-month or 8-month period from activation. Once the contracted period ends, the service is automatically deactivated.
How is the service paid for?
A single upfront payment is made at the time of subscription. There are no monthly bills or additional charges during the contracted period, except in cases of damage to the equipment or installation due to misuse, tampering or causes unrelated to the service, which may incur repair or replacement costs.
What does the price include?
The service includes:
- Subscription
- Installation
- Router
- 300 Mbps symmetric internet connection
- TV service during the contracted period
Does Vacation Fiber include TV?
Yes. Vacation Fiber includes Basic TV during the contracted period, at no additional monthly cost.
Does TV include a set-top box?
No. The TV service does not include a decoder. To use it, you need a compatible device, such as an Amazon Fire TV Stick or a compatible television.
Does it include international packs?
No. Vacation Fiber only includes Basic TV. International packs are not included and can be contracted separately.
Do I have to return the router when the service ends?
No. The router remains the property of the customer and does not need to be returned when the service ends.
Is it available in all areas?
No. This product is available in the areas of Sóller, Deià and Fornalutx, subject to coverage and technical feasibility.
Does it include a landline?
No. Vacation Fiber does not include a landline.
Is there a commitment period?
There is no additional commitment. The service has a fixed duration of 6 or 8 months, depending on the chosen plan, and ends automatically at the end of that period.
What happens if the property already has fiber installed?
If the property already has a fiber installation that can be reused, the existing installation will be kept and only the router will be installed.
Can I subscribe again when the service ends?
Yes. When the contracted period ends, you can request a new Vacation Fiber period or check with our team for other available options.
Do I need to already have fiber with Uenergia to subscribe to Vacation Fiber?
No. Vacation Fiber is an independent service and can be contracted even if you do not have any other fiber or telecommunications service with Uenergia.
