U energia is an energy marketing company and a nationwide telecommunications operator (for fibre, landlines and mobiles), based in the Balearic Islands.

Our origins date back to 1892 when EL GAS S.A was founded. A pioneer energy company based in Mallorca and the current owner of U energia. In the beginning it was dedicated to the production of gas and later electricity, supplying energy to the Vall de Sóller, specifically to the towns of Sóller and Fornalutx.

As a result of more than a century of tradition, optimisation and improvement of how we work, U energia has recently expanded the range of services it offers throughout the Balearic Islands and the Spanish mainland, thanks to maximum energy efficiency, a reduction in costs and a vocational customer support service.
